Who we are
Hull City Nostalgia is a sole-trader retail operation run by Andrew Corbett (trading as Hull City Nostalgia) based in Hull, East Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Contact: info@hullcitynostalgia.co.uk or via our contact form.
UK trading address: Unit C2, Boulevard Industrial Estate, Hull, HU3 4BA. VAT: not VAT-registered (small-business exempt). Programmes are zero-rated printed matter under Group 3, Schedule 8, VATA 1994.
What we sell
Original second-hand Hull City AFC matchday programmes and related printed memorabilia, ranging in age from the 1950s to the current era. Every item is a unique physical object — only one of each is in stock. Once sold, the listing is removed and cannot be re-purchased.
Prices & payment
Prices are in GBP and shown inclusive of any applicable tax. Postage is calculated at basket checkout using the rules in our postage & returns policy. Payment is taken via PayPal — you may pay with a PayPal balance, linked card, or as a guest (card only). The contract of sale is formed when your payment is confirmed by PayPal.
Sold as seen — no returns (used goods exemption)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel distance-sale purchases. The right to cancel does not apply to our items, because each programme is:
- a used, second-hand collectable item whose value is fundamentally tied to its specific unique condition;
- photographed in detail before sale (all photos on the product page are of the actual physical item you receive); and
- sold as-seen, with every visible defect described in the listing.
By completing checkout you confirm you have reviewed the photos and description, and accept the item in the condition shown. See our sold-as-seen policy for the full statement.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to items that arrive not-as-described, faulty in ways not shown in the photos, or damaged in transit. If any of those apply, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will resolve it (refund, or replacement where possible).
Delivery
UK Standard tracked postage is offered on all orders. Signed For upgrade is available at £8 (recommended for items £40+ and required for orders over £150). We dispatch within 2 working days of payment clearing. Estimated arrival: 2–4 working days after dispatch for Standard, 1–2 working days for Signed For. International shipping is quoted on request.
Complaints procedure
If something's gone wrong with your order, please email info@hullcitynostalgia.co.uk in the first instance. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 days. Unresolved consumer complaints for UK sellers can be escalated via Citizens Advice (0808 223 1133) or the Competition and Markets Authority. Online Dispute Resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Affiliation & trademarks
Hull City Nostalgia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Hull City AFC. We are an independent second-hand retailer. "Hull City", the tiger imagery within the programmes themselves, and all opponent-club marks are the property of their respective clubs. Their use here is purely descriptive of the physical second-hand items we resell.
Limitation of liability
Our liability for any single order is limited to the total value of that order (item price + postage paid). Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or excludes liability for fraud, personal injury, or where such exclusion would be unlawful.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the point you place your order is the version that applies to your purchase. Recent revisions are noted at the top of the page.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the English courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
