About Hull City Nostalgia
Original Hull City AFC matchday programmes — every piece a moment fixed in time, sold with honest photos and a real refund guarantee when it counts.
Why this exists
Every Hull City programme is a small artefact of a specific day. A birthday. A first match with a granddad. A famous cup run. A grim relegation Saturday you still remember. They were printed once, on the day, then taken home and kept by a supporter who was there. Decades later those survivors are some of the most personal gifts going — you're not just giving an object, you're giving that day.
The other football-memorabilia shops mostly don't help you find your day. They sort by team, by season, by trophy. We sort by date, because that's how people actually remember. Birthdays, anniversaries, the game your kid grew up going to. Type the date — find the programme.
How the shop is different
- Every photo is the actual item. Not stock. Not a similar item. Not a scan of a different copy. You see the paper stock, the print, the wear.
- Date-searchable everything. You can type 14 March 1986, 1986-03-14, or just 1986 and find what you're after.
- Match facts on the page. When we've verified them from two independent sources: final score, half-time, scorers, attendance, why the game mattered.
- No fake scarcity, no fake pricing. Each item is priced from real completed sales, not what we wish they were worth.
- Watermarked photos. Every image on the site carries our watermark — so if you see one lifted onto another shop, you'll know.
Who's behind it
My name's Andy Corbett. I'm a lifelong Hull City supporter, and I've been collecting programmes since I was a kid at Boothferry Park in the 1980s. When my dad passed a few years back I inherited his boxes too, and the collection ended up bigger than any one person needs — a thousand-plus original matchday programmes spanning the 1950s through to the modern era. This shop is me finding them new homes with people who'll appreciate them.
I run everything myself: the photography, the descriptions, the packing, the after-sales support. My day job is a branding studio (Kingston Branding) in Hull, so the design and the product photography are done properly — not phone-shots on a kitchen table. If something arrives wrong, you email me directly and get a reply from a person, not a support ticket queue.
Based at Unit C2, Boulevard Industrial Estate, Hull, HU3 4BA. Every order gets picked, packaged and posted from here.
The trust promise
If any programme arrives and isn't as shown in the photos — missing pages we didn't disclose, damage not visible, wrong item entirely — contact us within 7 days and we'll refund in full, including your return postage. That's it. No haggling.
Where the stock comes from
Personal collection built up since the 1980s, plus estate purchases and pre-agreed buys from other collectors. If you have Hull City programmes you'd like to sell — especially pre-1970 or FA Cup runs — use the contact form and pick Selling my own programmes.
